October 8, 2005 struck a huge landscape of the North West Frontier Province with an earthquake killing thousands and leaving many more homeless and food-less for months. That really was a testing time for the whole Pakistani Nation. Individuals and organizations took active part in bringing life to normal in all those areas. Pakistan Relief Fund participated in full passion to help the needy and the homeless.

Lately, as you all know, this time it has struck the province of Balochistan mainly the town and peripheries of Pishin, Ziarat, Khanozai and many other far flung areas. Quetta too received immense shocks and people are still afraid of living under the roof. They are using tents in their yards or on the roads.
 
Once again, your help is needed for the needy and the homeless. Pakistan Relief Fund has the passion of reviving the help it did in the 2005 Earthquake; this time for another or our provinces, Baluchistan. Pakistan ranks worst than Sudan, Burma, Bangladesh, and India, when it comes to infant mortality.  With 92 deaths for every 1,000 live births, Pakistan is significantly worst than the world average (60 deaths for every 1,000 live births). And one in every 38 women die due to pregnancy related causes.

Our aim is to reduce infant mortality by establishing charity programs in the area of healthcare, nutrition, and vaccinations.
